Latisse is a prescription treatment used to treat eyelash hypotrichosis, the lack of eyelashes. Latisse makes eyelashes longer, thicker and darker. The multi-specialty health care company responsible for Latisse is Allergan. Allergan is most recognized for its product Botox which is a popular cosmetic treatment generating 1.42 billion in revenue last year. Now CEO of Allergan David Pyott is looking to Latisse as its next star earner because Latisse has made it into the second phase of clinical testing as a baldness treatment for both men and women. The second stage of testing is testing Latisse against placebos.
